The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established standards of nursing practice, hospital policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. The RN is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, evaluating patient outcomes, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current and unrestricted Registered Professional Nurse license in the applicable state.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialty certification may be required depending on the assigned clinical area.
- Previous acute-care nursing experience preferred; new graduate nurses may be considered based on departmental requirements.
