Full Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our vascular surgery ambulatory practice. This role is ideal for a candidate with experience in wound care or someone interested in developing skills in this area. The nurse will provide hands-on patient care, assist with rooming patients, support wound care services, and perform telephone triage as part of a collaborative clinical team.

This position offers a full-time schedule during daytime clinical office hours, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or on-call responsibilities. The schedule may be either four days (36 hours) or five days (40 hours) per week.

This is an on-site role split between two practice locations. Approximately half of the time will be spent in our Scarborough, Maine office, with the remaining time providing coverage at our Lewiston, Maine location.

Summary:
The MH Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
