Are you looking for a full-time nursing role that combines meaningful patient relationships with the variety of same-day care? Join the Primary Care and Walk-In Care team in Belfast and become part of a collaborative, patient-centered practice dedicated to serving the community. This combination creates a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Located on the MaineHealth Waldo Hospital campus , this unique opportunity allows you to work across both Primary Care and Walk-In Care settings . You'll support patients of all ages through preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, same-day visits, and acute care needs while working closely with a team of 28 providers, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff.

Primary Care services are offered Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m ., while Walk-In Care provides extended access Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (40 hours per week, 4 / 10 hour days - when you work the weekend, you get an extra day off during week)

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The MH Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
