Description MH Wound Care - Biddeford/SanfordSchedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTEReq#: 78090MaineHealth Wound Care is seeking a full-time wound care provider to join their team supporting our Wound Care Center at Maine Medical Center - Biddeford and our Wound Healing & Hyperbaric outpatient clinic at Maine Medical Center - Sanford Campus. The selected candidate will join two advanced practice providers and one podiatrist. This position includes administrative opportunities as well. The selected candidate will serve as the Associate Medical Director for the Maine Medical Center - Biddeford and Sanford (MMCBS) program providing vital direction and oversight to inpatient and outpatient wound care services being provided at MMCBS locations.
MMCBS offers a wide array of medical care and surgical support services. The MMCBS multi-specialty physician services group is comprised of more than 125 physicians providing comprehensive primary and specialty services and a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitation services providing the resources and expertise to address the multidimensional needs of wound care patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school OR successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate program
- Board Certified preferred/Board Eligible for the right candidate.
- Fellowship-trained preferred
- Two or more years of experience in the field preferred
- Prior experience with hyperbaric oxygen is preferred
