Registered Nurse (RN)

💲 Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
🕒 Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem Opportunities Available

As an RN, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing nursing operations, delivering high-quality resident care, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

RN Responsibilities
Clinical & Resident Care
  • Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight to residents.
  • Assess resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Monitor resident progress and ensure individualized care plans are followed.
  • Perform admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Start IVs and obtain specimens as ordered.
  • Participate in care planning, assessments, and discharge planning.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in resident condition.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Leadership & Supervision
  • Supervise and support Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
  • Ensure adequate staffing and assignment coverage during the shift.
  • Conduct rounds and monitor quality of care provided by nursing staff.
  • Assist with staff training, coaching, and orientation.
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on resident-centered care.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary departments to maintain quality outcomes.

Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
  • Support infection prevention and safety initiatives.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
  • Maintain resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
  • Complete incident reports and follow-up documentation as needed.
  • Assist during regulatory surveys and audits.

Qualifications
Required
  • Active, unrestricted California Registered Nurse (RN) License
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Rehabilitation, or Long-Term Care setting
  • Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing
  • Experience with PCC (PointClickCare) electronic health records
