As a Registered Nurse with our MaineHealth - Obstetrics and Gynecology team, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care in a clinical setting. The nurse in this position will work closely with patient and their health needs, whether by phone or in person and provide a wide range of clinical support to physicians and advanced practice practitioners. This role is ideal for a skilled, patient-focused RN who values teamwork, clinical excellence, and making a meaningful impact in women's health. This is a four-day work week position within the clinical practice days of Monday - Friday; day shift position, excluding weekends, major holidays and on-call requirements.

Summary:

The Registered Nurse II - Ambulatory role uses professional nursing processes to assess the needs of patients and families calling or presenting for care in the physician office and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of RN experience required. Two years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse I - Ambulatory Care role.

The pay range for this position is $34.35 to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
