Job Title: RN 12.5 Hr Shift

Location: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Ctr

Department Name: Medical-Surgical Unit-IV



Status: Hourly

Shift: Day

Pay Range: $47.85 - $60.60 per hour

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Organize and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing, Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities,

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
  • Successful completion of all Orientation Programs

Preferred:
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or currently matriculating
  • 3+ years of Nursing Experience in an acute care setting

Certifications and Licenses Required:
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New Jersey
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association upon hire

Scheduling Requirements:
  • Full-Time
  • Days
  • 37.5 hrs. Weekly
  • 12.5 hrs shifts
  • Every other weekend required
  • The schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs.
