Job Title: RN 12.5 Hr Shift

Location: Cooperman Barnabas Medical Ctr

Department Name: Medical-Surgical Unit-II



Status: Hourly

Pay Range: $47.85 - $60.60 per hour

Pay Transparency:

The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

Organize and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in Unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Successful completion of all orientation programs is required by Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Certifications and Licenses Required:
  • Active NJ RN License
  • Basic Life Support BLS from the American Heart Association

Scheduling Requirements:
  • Full-Time
  • Night shift
  • 12.5 hr shifts
  • 37.5 hrs weekly
  • Every other weekend required
  • Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
