Job DescriptionShriners Children's St. Louis has an opportunity for a full-time night shift Pediatric Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Unit. You will provide direct patient care for children with a variety of different orthopedic conditions ranging from mild to complex. This involves providing Med-Surg and ICU level of nursing care.

Hours: This full-time nigh shift position works 72 hours bi-weekly and every 3rd weekend.
Key Responsibilities:- The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care.
- The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
- This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be skillful in mentoring and teaching.
Required Qualifications:- BSN degree or in process
- Missouri RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications:- 2+ years bedside RN experience (will consider new grads)
- Pediatric and ICU experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
The pay range for this position is $35.37 - $53.05. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
