Join the Care at Home team based out of Rockport and help patients receive exceptional care where they are most comfortable-at home. In this 40-hour salaried position, you'll serve patients throughout Knox County, providing skilled nursing care, conducting assessments, coordinating services, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to support patients through recovery, chronic illness management, and ongoing healthcare needs. Home care nursing offers a unique opportunity to focus on one patient at a time while developing strong relationships with patients and families. This position includes a weekend rotation of one weekend every fourth weekend , providing a predictable schedule while ensuring continuity of care for the patients we serve. This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The MH Registered Nurse - Home Care role provides patient-family centered quality care through assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of the effects of nursing care. Services may be provided on an outpatient and/or community basis.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as an RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date. Valid Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy required
  3. Experience: One year of RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where applicable)

The pay range for this position is $77,147.20 to $104,353.60 per year.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
