Operating Room RN - Ophthalmology (4x10 | Days | New York)Shift Details
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- 40 hours per week
- Primarily Monday through Friday, day shift
- On-call responsibilities for evenings, nights, and weekends
Position Overview
- Using a multidisciplinary approach, OR staff cares for patients of all ages in both scrub and circulating roles within an ophthalmology operating room
Job Requirements
- RN License (New York state license ONLY)
- Two (2) years of operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma facility (preferred)
- Able to scrub and circulate
- Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics required
Certifications
- BLS - American Heart Association ONLY (required)
- ACLS (preferred)
Skills
- RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
- Two (2) years of experience in the operating room - Required
- Able to scrub and circulate - Required
- Experience with cataracts, retina, glaucoma, cornea, and pediatrics - Required
