Qualifications

• 2-3 years of recent infusion experience required; outpatient clinic experience highly desired
• ONS chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience with Epic EMR and Alaris infusion pumps
• Strong IV/vascular access and port access skills
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the oncology care team
• Current, unencumbered NYS RN licensure

Responsibilities

• Join a community-based oncology practice as an RN specializing in hematology and outpatient infusion
• Administer a mixture of hematology/oncology/monoclonals and non-oncology referral infusions
• Conduct chemotherapy teaching at the chairside while infusing patients
• Manage a patient assignment averaging 8 patients per day, with a maximum of 24
• Collaborate effectively with a small, multidisciplinary care team
• Work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
