Job Overview:

A Registered Nurse (RN) working on a neuro unit (neuroscience or neurological unit) provides specialized care to patients with neurological conditions, such as brain, spine, and nerve disorders. The job responsibilities and duties for an RN in this setting are tailored to the specific needs of patients dealing with conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, neurodegenerative diseases (like Parkinson's or multiple sclerosis), and post-surgical recovery from neurological procedures.

Overall, an RN on the neuro unit plays a critical role in providing specialized care, monitoring the condition of neurological patients, administering treatments, and supporting both patients and their families through often complex and challenging healthcare situations.

Required: Certifications/Licenses:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.

Education:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing

Experience:
At least one-year previous experience in clinical unit preferred.

Compensation:

Hourly Range -$31.25-$46.88

Incentives:
