Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to support a behavioral health team providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services. The RN will work closely with psychiatric providers and the clinical team to support patient appointments, administer medications, complete clinical documentation, and assist with day-to-day clinic operations.
Responsibilities/ Job Duties:
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and enter patient notes.
- Administer injections, including Suboxone injections, as directed by the provider.
- Assist with medication management, including the proper destruction and disposal of medications.
- Support the ordering and stocking of clinical supplies.
- Work closely with psychiatric providers to support patient appointments and clinical workflows.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs prior to psychiatric appointments.
- Maintain familiarity with MAT medications and related clinical protocols.
- Facilitate urine drug screening processes and coordinate specimens with the laboratory; the RN will not typically be responsible for specimen collection.
- Collaborate with providers and the clinical team to ensure patients receive safe, timely, and quality care.
- Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, safety, and documentation standards.
- Travel between multiple clinic sites throughout the week is required.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements:
- Active California RN license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience or familiarity with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) preferred.
- Must have a Valid CA Drivers License and reliable transportation as travel to different Clinic site is required.
Schedule/ Shift: Mon-Fri: 8:00am - 05:00pm
