Patients on 14 Moffitt commonly have central lines, wound care, nasogastric tubes, Q2 medications, electrolyte replacements and require maximum assistance for activities for daily living. All beds have telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry monitoring capability. Nurses on this fast-paced, high acuity unit are a highly motivated group of professionals providing outstanding care to the entire patient populations served. Teamwork among our nursing staff, as well as physician and nurse collaboration, is well tuned and allows workflow to occur optimally.
