Schedule: Days | Full Time 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Lead daily operations and workflow for the nursing unit, ensuring safe staffing, efficient care coordination, and high-quality patient care delivery across the interdisciplinary team.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical policies while maintaining accurate clinical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR/EMR).
  • Hire, train, coach, and evaluate nursing staff, supporting professional development and strengthening collaboration to deliver safe, effective direct patient care.
  • Identify and resolve barriers affecting patient care services while managing departmental resources and budgets to maintain operational efficiency and quality outcomes.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and approve expenditures to ensure responsible resource management while maintaining operational efficiency and high standards of patient care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • BSN
  • Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years OR RN experience with 1+ years of leadership experience
