  • Optimize Unit Workflow and Resources: Direct daily operations and staff scheduling to ensure the department is always prepared to respond to fluctuating patient volumes with agility and excellence.
  • Resolve Barriers to Patient Care: Identify and eliminate operational "bottlenecks" in real-time, creating a seamless environment where your team can focus entirely on patient outcomes and safety.
  • Ensure Clinical and Regulatory Excellence: Uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance within the unit, protecting both our patients and our clinicians through rigorous adherence to accreditation requirements.
  • Steward Departmental Health: Manage the unit budget and expenditures with a strategic eye, ensuring your team has the necessary tools, technology, and supplies to provide world-class emergency services.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • Must have previous ER experience
  • Must have prior RN Manager experience
  • Trauma experience is a plus!
