Department: Stepdown Intermediate Care

Schedule: Full-Time

  • Lead and empower unit staff: Direct hiring, training, and continuous professional development to cultivate a high-performing, compassionate nursing team.
  • Elevate patient care quality: Swiftly identify and resolve operational challenges across assigned units to maintain seamless, high-standard patient care delivery.
  • Optimize clinical operations: Develop and refine unit policies and workflows to improve daily efficiency and ensure full compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Oversee strategic resource management: Manage unit budgets and approve operational expenditures to ensure your team has the necessary resources to deliver exceptional care.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
    transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if
    considered multi-state/Compact State. Licensure is dependent on state associate works in.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
