How you'll make an impact in this role- Direct cross-departmental clinical care and staffing across the ED, Med Surg, Med Surg Swing, Cardiac Rehab, and Endo units to maintain rapid response capabilities and seamless patient flow.
- Resolve immediate patient care and operational bottlenecks across diverse clinical specialties to safeguard rural healthcare access and maintain safety standards in a Critical Access environment.
- Mentor and empower multi-disciplinary nursing staff to build a versatile, highly skilled clinical team equipped to manage both emergent trauma and routine procedure care.
- Manage multi-unit operational budgets and resource allocation to optimize critical hospital supplies, equipment, and staffing efficiency.
- Enforce Critical Access Hospital (CAH) regulatory compliance and accreditation standards to ensure uninterrupted, high-quality community care delivery.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following:
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- This manager will be over both Ascension Saint Thomas Hickman in Centerville, TN and Ascension Saint Thomas Three Rivers in Waverly, TN.
