Full Job Description
What You'll Do

As an Outpatient Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care while supporting providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.

Schedule
  • Must be available for day/night rotation
  • 36 hours per week
  • Weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Assess, triage, and monitor critically ill patients; develop and implement individualized care plans while continuously evaluating patient status and responding to changes in condition.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other prescribed treatments; manage ventilators, critical care equipment, and assist with invasive bedside procedures, including central lines, arterial lines, and intubation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team during rounds to coordinate patient care, provide bedside treatments, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate patient progress.
  • Deliver direct patient care, including wound care, hygiene, infection prevention, patient and family education, and emotional support while maintaining patient safety, dignity, and compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Maintain clinical readiness by stocking supplies, preparing patient rooms, completing shift reports, following facility policies and infectious disease protocols, and demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and accountability throughout each shift.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), or Nursing Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
  • Requires 2-3 years of current Critical Care experience in an Acute Care hospital setting
  • Successful completion of the NCLEX.
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. state, territory, or commonwealth.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to successfully complete the AMI credentialing process.
