Job DescriptionResponsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.
Principal Accountabilities:1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
6. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsQualifications/Requirements:- RN must be able to care for patients in all aspects of Labor and delivery, antepartum, couplet, and newborn care
- Must be able to circulate in a c-section
Minimum Education:- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
Education:License/Certifications:- BLS required
- NRP required
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred
- NJ RN License
Relevant Experience: - 2+ years of NICU or level 2 nursery experience is a plus
- 3+ years of L&D experience
