Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or diploma; BSN required for new hires post-2012.
• Basic working knowledge of common computer applications.
• Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support/CPR).
• Valid Florida Registered Nurse License.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate neurological and cardiac care for patients.
• Monitor and manage cardiac needs of stroke patients.
• Administer cardiac drips and interventions.
• Perform stress tests and cardiac catheterizations.
• Assist with cardioversions and ablations.
• Care for patients post-craniectomy and spinal surgeries.
• Provide comprehensive care in a 46-bed unit.
