Job Summary

This leader has operational accountability and oversight and manages the daily activities of Nuclear Medicine, EKG Services and Radiation Safety. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.

Required Qualifications

- Require five (5) years of experience with at least three (3) years in a nuclear medicine technologist role, one (1) year of supervisory/managerial experience, and one (1) year of radiation safety experience.
- Require completion of a radiation safety officer training program consisting of at least two hundred (200) hours of classroom and laboratory training.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prefer three (3) years of full-time radiation safety experience.
- Prefer knowledge and understanding of the operational characteristics, usage, and safety parameters of a comprehensive range of radiation therapy equipment and facilities, as well as in-depth knowledge and understanding of current radiation therapy principles, methods, procedures and techniques.
- Prefer ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.
- Prefer ability to develop project budgets and projections.
- Prefer current membership in ARRT of Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
