How you'll make an impact in this role- Assess & Plan: Identify learning needs, competencies, and teaching tools for an assigned service or population, leveraging in-patient case management and bedside hospital experience.
- Develop & Implement: Design and execute educational plans, programs, and instructional materials tailored to staff and patient care needs.
- Evaluate: Utilize specific methods, measurements, and tools to evaluate the achievement of learning goals and program effectiveness.
- Collaborate & Record: Partner with nurse managers and staff to facilitate activities while maintaining accurate educational records and reports.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
transfer date required. - Preferred Credential(s):
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Educator specializing in Childbirth credentialed from the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional
Association.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Previous Care Management experience preferred
- Local to Chicagoland needed
