DescriptionResponsibilities:- Conduct surgical services, on the operating room (OR) team(s).
- Work within specialized areas that treat open-heart (cardiovascular) patients.
- Ensure that sterile procedures are followed, necessary equipment and medications are available, and that patient safety is always assured.
- CVOR nurses participate in patient care, clinical decision-making, monitoring and CVOR coordination.
- One or more year(s) of current experience within the Cardiovascular Operating Room
- Educated on and follows HIPAA regulations; maintains strict confidentiality of client information
Education Requirement:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
License/Certification- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse with active license(s) in the state(s) in which employed and practices.
- Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certification
Certification: Basic Life Support , Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
