How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Team Direction: Assign, educate, and monitor nursing staff to drive peak shift performance and care delivery.
  • Strategic Planning: Exercise independent judgment to optimize shift work-flows, services, and clinical staffing.
  • Resource Optimization: Secure and manage essential materials, supplies, and resources to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
  • Operational Accountability: Design acuity-based assignments, maintain unit productivity standards, and manage operational variances.
  • Talent Management: Partner in building unit culture through staff training, performance coaching, and hiring input.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer daten required.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Charge Nurse experience preferred
