Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) - Case Manager (Purchased/Referred Care) in support of Indian Health Services within the Fort Peck Service Unit in Wolf Point and Poplar, MT.

 

Responsibilities
  • Providing specialized case management and care coordination for patients with special health care needs.
  • Reviewing and monitoring outpatient consultations and referrals for medical necessity, cost effectiveness, and appropriateness.
  • Collaborating with PRC staff, providers, and external facilities to ensure care aligns with CMS criteria.
  • Maintaining statistical data on consults, monitoring deferred referrals, and supporting PRC team continuous quality improvement.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm (excluding federal holidays). 
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Registered Nurse, with case management and Purchased/Referred Care (or similar) experience.  
  • Permanent, current, full and unrestricted license to practice a Registered Nurse in a state, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.  
  • Ability to obtain an IHS public trust clearance.
Estimated Salary/WageUSD $34.01/Hr. Up to USD $65.00/Hr.
