Registered Nurse 3 to join our team and deliver high-quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs.
Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana Registered Nurse license or a temporary permit or multi-state license issued by a Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC/eNLC) state to practice as a registered nurse plus one of the following:
Two years of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A bachelor's degree in nursing plus one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A master's degree in nursing or public health plus one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse; OR
A doctorate in nursing or public health.

Job Duties and Other InformationJob Duties:
- The incumbent will provide professional nursing services for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs.
- The position is also responsible for providing consultation and technical assistance to build the capacity for providers and professionals statewide to provide successful support in the community for individuals with complex medical/nursing needs; this includes consultation of a highly complex and technical nature.
- Develops and conducts workshop presentations for regional professionals and providers related to interdisciplinary approaches to treatment and support for individuals with complex medical needs.

Compensation:Additional Pay (received in addition to base pay above for every hour worked)$5 per hour
Certification Pay (received in addition to base pay above for every hour worked)ACLS - $0.50 per hour
Preferred Experience: One year of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities experience and able to travel locally.
