Full Job Description
AS REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT OF LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS

You will manage Divisional, Regional, and Area Account Managers in the Landscape Maintenance Division, including Enhancements, Irrigation, and Turf & Ornamental Application. You are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these sectors regarding performance, service quality, targeted growth, and profit goals. You will carry out executive supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable standard operating procedures.

REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT OF LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Directing and managing all operational activities, administration, and reporting to achieve the targeted growth and profit goals of a designated Region.
  • Demonstrate and embody our Company core values and culture.
  • Understand, implement, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitoring, mentoring, and leading the team to balance Company goals with employee satisfaction.
  • Significant overnight travel throughout the designated region will be required. The general expectation is 70% travel outside of home base and embedded with your management staff.
  • Hiring, training, motivating, and developing management staff.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan, annual budget goals, business development plan, and training goals.
  • Delivering timely and accurate financial reports and production data to Ownership.
  • Assist in contract administration, billing and accounts receivable as required.
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with clients in support of Divisional, Regional, and Area /Managers.
  • Working with Business Development Vice President of Strategy and Sales to identify and achieve new contract maintenance opportunities.
  • Budget control of divisional expenses.
  • Conduct performance evaluations annually for management team.
  • Ensuring management team conducts annual performance evaluations for their respective teams.


EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • A four-year degree in finance, operations, or business-related or green industry field, or equivalent work experience and 10+ years of management work experience.
  • Proficiency in project and time management, team motivation, and prudent fiduciary decision-making a must.
  • Be able to give and take actionable advice, as well as communicate effectively via documentation (i.e.: emails, drawings), phone, and in person.
  • Possess general knowledge and understanding of landscape maintenance and horticulture.
  • Must possess great organizational skills and be able to multitask and self-manage several tasks at once. Ability to prioritize and maintain a work schedule.


COMPENSATION / BENEFITS

  • $175,000 - $185,000 per year
