The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial, and highly connected adtech leader to lead our Canadian Demand Partnerships business. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth across agency holding companies, independent agencies, direct brands, and emerging programmatic buyers while serving as a senior representative of Equativ in the Canadian market.

The ideal candidate brings deep programmatic expertise, strong executive relationships across the Canadian advertising ecosystem, and experience selling SSP, curation, programmatic media, audience, data, retail media, or advertising technology solutions.

What You'll Do

Revenue Growth & Commercial Leadership
  • Own and grow revenue across the Canadian market, driving new business and expanding strategic partnerships with agencies, brands, trading desks, and programmatic buyers.
  • Develop and execute the regional growth strategy aligned with Equativ's North American objectives.
  • Build and manage annual business plans, revenue forecasts, pipeline expectations, and key performance metrics.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Canadian sales team while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the Canadian P&L and ensure the business achieves its revenue and profitability goals.
  • Represent Equativ in the market, building executive relationships and serving as a key industry ambassador.

Agency & Brand Partnerships
  • Maintain senior relationships across HoldCos, Agency Partners, and Brand Direct
  • Partner directly with advertisers seeking programmatic, CTV, video, native, retail media, and curated marketplace solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on media strategy, supply path optimization, curation, identity, and performance.

Market Leadership
  • Represent Equativ within the Canadian advertising community.
  • Represent Equativ at industry events, conferences, panel discussions, client meetings, and executive forums. Serve as a visible industry advocate for the company through thought leadership, relationship building, speaking engagements, and an active professional presence on LinkedIn and other industry channels.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Help shape Equativ's go-to-market strategy across Canada.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Product, Supply, Operations, and Marketing teams.
  • Support client retention, growth, and strategic account planning.
  • Collaborate on custom marketplace, PMP, curation, retail media, and data partnership opportunities.
  • Help identify new partnerships across publishers, retailers, commerce platforms, and data providers.

What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, adtech, programmatic media, or martech.
  • Strong relationships across Canadian agency holding companies, independent agencies, and direct brands.
  • Experience selling SSP, DSP, exchange, data, audience, measurement, retail media, or programmatic solutions.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and building strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic advertising, CTV, video, native, identity, curation, and the evolving adtech ecosystem.
  • Executive presence with the ability to engage senior decision makers.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience
  • SSP or exchange experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with audience curation, retail media, commerce media, or data-driven advertising solutions.
  • Existing relationships with agency leadership, trading teams, and programmatic decision makers across Canada.
