Regional Veterinarian Medical Director

Full-Time • 4 weeks PTO • Ownership/Equity Available • $80,000 Sign-On Bonus

Job Description

We're seeking a Regional Medical Director to lead and support six general practice clinics in the Los Angeles area.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll continue practicing medicine while also shaping clinical standards, mentoring veterinarians, and elevating patient care across your region.

You'll partner closely with your Regional Operations Manager to align medical and operational excellence, while serving as a trusted resource for your teams.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide medical leadership and oversight across multiple locations
  • Mentor and develop associate veterinarians, especially early-career DVMs
  • Support clinical growth in areas like surgery, diagnostics, and case management
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team culture
  • Help drive consistency in quality of care while respecting each hospital's individuality


Qualifications
  • Current Veterinary License holder for the State of California; or the ability to obtain
  • 5+ years of clinical experience as a veterinarian, deeply confident in your medicine
  • DEA license preferred, not required
  • Natural leader and mentor who is driven to teach others
  • Highly organized and able to manage time effectively
  • Willingness to travel across the region to support all clinics spanning from Palmdale, CA to Covina, CA

Salary Range can vary from $180,000 to $230,000, with flexibility based on experience! Determining factor is solely based off experience, qualifications, schedule, compensation structure, and is subjected to change per applicable candidate.
