The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the execution of the AVANOS strategic commercial initiatives and business objectives. Expectations are to lead the sales process, implementations, and successful execution of commercial and strategic plans, and programs to achieve business objectives for assigned markets through leadership and effective high-performance team management.
Market Responsibility: Hospitals, Distributers, Alternate Site

Enteral Feeding Product Portfolios: Short- and long-term enteral feeding; NeoMed products
The Specialty Nutrition Systems, Regional Sales Manager will report to the National Sales Director. The role will lead a team of Long-Term Feeding Account Representatives and NICU Specialists within a specified region. The Regional Sales Manager will collaborate with internal business partners, marketing, corporate accounts, and Short-Term Feeding Sales Specialists in the field to achieve sales goals and commercial execution, including the implementation of the SOC sales process from conception to execution, to drive disposable/capital sales.
The ideal candidate for the Specialty Nutrition Systems, Regional Sales Manager position will need to have demonstrated consistent results in the following responsibilities from work history.
Key Responsibilities:- Communicate and execute the vision, mission, and objectives to direct and lead the sales team.
- Develop key growth sales strategies, business goals, and objectives, and drive change and standardization within hospitals.
- Own and achieve and/or exceed annual sales targets within assigned region and accounts.
- Drive and achieve sales growth and profit objectives through direct sales representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Manage and deploy appropriate resources focused on achieving commercial objectives.
- On-going talent assessment.
- Practice AVANOS core values, including accountability, and demonstrate high-impact communication effectively.
- Coach consistently and provide meaningful, actionable feedback.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Understand category-specific landscapes and marketplace trends.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales, Director of Product and Clinical Education, Short-Term Feeding Sales Director, Marketing, and internal business partners on an ongoing basis.
Your qualificationsRequired:- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-10 years of sales experience, ideally within the medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries; experience with capital equipment is a strong advantage
- Preferably a minimum of three years of sales leadership & management experience
- Proof of a successful track record, results-driven, assertive selling, and effective leadership qualities
- Demonstrates high-impact communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds
Preferred:- Preferrable a minimum of three (3) years sales leadership & management experience
- Medical Device sales, capital experience is a plus. Pharmaceutical or biotech experience.
- 8 years' of selling experience in any of the above or B2B
- Prefer candidate to be in the Top 10% of Sales Managers. Previous President Club/Circle Award Winner.
- Extensive travel is required. Up to 75%.

Salary Range:The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $140,000.00. In addition, this role is eligible for an attractive incentive compensation program and benefits. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the base posted.
