Regional Sales Manager - PEX (Eastern USA)
If you are a current employee, please navigate to apply internally.The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a regional growth strategy, in partnership with the Sales Director, to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals for Zurn Elkay's East Region (US). This leader will work side by side with, as well as manage and support, our manufacturer's rep network to defend and grow existing customer relationships while cultivating new partnerships with wholesalers, plumbing contractors, and homebuilders. The Regional Sales Manager will also own and actively manage a funnel of sales opportunities and deliver a monthly performance report-out to executive leadership.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop an intimate understanding of the region and its customers; build a strategic annual plan and execute it in an organized manner to achieve annual sales growth.
- Partner with leadership to develop monthly forecasted sales targets and profit margins, and work actively to achieve them.
- Cultivate relationships and partnerships with wholesalers and contractors to build loyalty and grow business.
- Own accountability for the success and effectiveness of the sales rep team's performance within the region, with a structured monthly funnel review call with reps.
- Enable the success of your region by providing product expertise including training, installation support, and failure analysis (supported by engineering).
- Partner with the pricing team to ensure our product is in line with market price while maintaining profitability.
- Manage the rebate process including the development and sustainment of programs
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business or equivalent field required.
- 5+ years of indirect sales management experience (channel partners, distributors, manufacturing representative agencies, etc..) managing a third-party rep network.
- Experience in the manufacturing, construction, HVAC, plumbing & mechanical, or similar industry Preferred.
Knowledge and Abilities
- Ability to lead indirect sales team with influence and understanding that success through other people's performance is vital to the job. Must have the ability to train and motivate a sales force, and develop and execute strategic and tactical action plans.

- Must have the ability to communicate and facilitate up and across.
- Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Outlook and Salesforce CRM preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within assigned territory
- Must reside within the territory the position manages
