Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to support these efforts. The successful candidate will be well versed in provincial and federal regulatory, and operation matters for the business and enjoy building an operation from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate in a fast-paced, evolving environment, set achievable milestones and build meaningful connections both internally and externally with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The employee will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities as requested. Job duties may change as required by needs of company.

Business Development:
  • Cultivate and develop relationships with mortgage brokers, mortgage bankers, realtors, CPA's and banks in a designated territory.
  • Identify mortgage brokers that originate mortgage products that meet the company's guidelines.
  • Consistently generate and maintain a quality pipeline of transactions in order to meet production requirements.
  • Travel as needed to deliver with sales presentations and broker recruitment.

Marketing:
  • Assist in the development of the marketing plan that allows for the greatest market
    penetration in the assigned territory.
  • Conduct client training sessions as needed.
  • Attend tradeshows and other industry related conferences.

Facilitate Diligence and Closing:
  • Act as primary point of contact with borrowers from initial credit application to submission of loan requests to loan closing to ensure a seamless and positive client service experience
  • Oversee coordination of borrower onboarding, loan underwriting and loan funding functions to ensure a streamlined and efficient process
  • Communicate credit committee decisions and loan terms to borrowers

Customer Service:
  • Represent the Company with honesty and integrity while delivering high levels of customer service to both our external and internal partners.
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry and competition
  • Regularly attend external professional development opportunities (educational, networking, etc.)
  • Regularly read industry and market-related publications


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of successful field sales experience or equivalent.
