FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITES 1. Leadership and Coaching (Outside Sales Team)
- Set clear expectations and lead through coaching, ride-alongs, and performance management
- Establish consistent routines: weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, call coaching, and quarterly account planning
- Recruit, onboard, and develop talent to support growth and succession
2. Sales Strategy and Execution
- Own and execute the regional growth plan across markets, segments, and account tiers
- Translate it into rep-level goals, activity plans, and measurable outcomes
- Drive new customer acquisition through targeted prospecting and vertical market focus
- Expand share-of-wallet through cross-selling, category growth, and program adoption
3. Pipeline, Forecasting and KPI Discipline
- Build and manage a KPI-driven operating system (activity and outcome metrics
- Maintain rigorous pipeline inspection, stage discipline, and forecast accuracy
- Lead regular performance reviews to ensure accountability and remove execution barriers
4. Pricing, Margin, and Deal Quality
- Partner with Pricing and Category teams to protect margin and ensure disciplined growth
- Reinforce pricing standards, approval processes workflows, and value-based selling
- Coach Reps to Improve negotiation effectiveness, and overall deal quality
5. Branch and Inside Sales Partnership (One-Team Selling)
- Align closely with Branch Leaders and Inside Sales leaders to ensure seamless execution and service
- Eliminate friction between field and branch; resolve issues quickly
- Coordinate sales efforts with branch capacity, inventory, and service capabilities
6. Customer Experience and Retention
- Champion a customer-first culture focused on responsiveness and reliability Lead retention strategies including at-risk account management and service recovery
- Ensure consistent delivery of service standards across the region
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing to improve execution and customer outcomes
- Support campaign events, and contractor engagement initiatives
- Provide market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, and customer needs
