Job Description:

Summary of the Regional Sales Director

The Regional Sales Director is a primary business development and revenue generation leader for Streamline Healthcare Solutions. The primary focus will be selling the Streamline SmartCare platform to potential clients within a specific region. We define the position as, hunter, deal expander, and, ultimately the client advocate.

At times you will work closely with other members of our organization including the Executive Team, Sales Engineering, Development, Implementation and Support. Communication and a good understanding of the healthcare market changes, and a willingness to learn and teach others are key traits to this role.

Candidates should live in or near Texas, Kansas, or Missouri

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 per year DOE, plus commission. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Job Functions of the Regional Sales Director

  • Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute a sales goal for the region

  • Conduct outbound sales activity to digital, marketing and IT influencers at B2B target companies

  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of new business development activity to achieve goals

  • Attend and participate in industry meetings and conferences

  • Manage an accurate pipeline and forecast data on a weekly basis and clearly, presents at weekly sales meeting

  • Uncover and address the win-criteria required to close deals at a high rate

  • Develop specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term

Job Requirements for the Regional Sales Director

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a social science related field required

  • 3+ Years Health and Human Services industry experience as a clinician or administrator.

  • Knowledge and understanding of continuum of care across acute, ambulatory and post-acute settings

  • Previous selling experience helpful

  • Strong presentation abilities and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Very disciplined and thorough at opportunity identification, probing, and qualification, presentation and closing

  • Able to uncover and address the win-criteria required to close deals at a high rate

  • Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline of new business development activity to achieve goals

  • Managing accurate pipeline and forecast data on a weekly basis and clearly presents at weekly sales meeting

  • State and county selling experience is highly desirable.

  • Results driven, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment

  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities and sharp attention to detail

  • Can work independently and be self-directed

  • Confidence in dealing with and serving customers

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (excel, power point, word) and Google Apps

  • A functional understanding of SQL Databases and systems architecture helpful

  • Willingness to travel up to 40-60%
