PTC is looking for a sales management professional in our East region. The Regional Director will manage a sales team focused on strategic accounts. This individual will provide strong leadership skills to develop the team, as well as drive and execute on sales campaigns. They will be capable of recruiting, building, and retaining a strong sales team. This position requires state-to-state travel. This is an exciting time to join PTC as we continue to grow!
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Responsible for recruiting and team development within assigned region which will involve travel ~40% of time across the east region
- Lead Forecasting, ARR Management, cross department collaboration, etc.
- Tasked with executive account relationship management
- Sorts out employee(s) personal and professional concerns and needs
- Provides the right resources at the right times to employee(s)
- Ensures staff understands professional development needs and attends training programs as necessary
- Provide leadership to a team of approximately 5-10 sales representatives
- Ability to achieve high activity levels while maintaining focus on multiple sales campaigns.
- Ability to direct and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed their target revenue quota in a competitive environment
- Develop a professional sales force that achieves outstanding customer service
- Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities
- Experience selling complex enterprise software solutions
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree
- 7+ years experience managing sales teams
- 15+ years sales experience in software sales
- Understanding of the manufacturing industry core software solutions, main competitors, and disruptive/emerging technologies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to drive data-based decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and cultivate successful customer relationships.
- Proficiency in using SFDC CRM, Qlik analytics tools, and Clari Forecast Management software and other sales-related tools.
- Creative, collaborative mindset with the capability to work effectively across various territories and regions in North America.
PTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $300,000 - $350,000. The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target incentive compensation that may be attained in this role. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.
Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
