Full Job Description
Eaton's Electrical Engineering Systems & Services division is currently seeking a Regional Project Manager. This is a remote position with 75% travel. Candidates must reside within 100 miles of Albuquerque, NM.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $93,750 - $137,500 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

This role will be responsible for directing the execution of preventive maintenance, retrofit, startup and commissioning projects. These projects will be completed in conjunction with our District Operations Centers (DOC's), with the Project Manager overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, control, and job closure activities.

What you'll do:

PRIMARY FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

Eaton's Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division is seeking a Regional Project Manager will be responsible for directing the execution of preventive maintenance, retrofit, startup and commissioning projects. These projects will be completed in conjunction with our District Operations Centers (DOC's), with the Project Manager overseeing planning, execution, monitoring, control, and job closure activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DIMENSIONS
• Oversee tasks such as scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Receive job handoffs and complete initial technical, scope of work, and scheduling requirement reviews.
• Utilize necessary project management tools, software, and other resources to maintain adherence to key milestones and deliverables on site.
• Own coordination of project meetings (internal and external) and formal communication plans to key project stakeholders.
• Determine mechanisms required for successful job closeout (punch lists / issue resolution, internal warranty, transition to owner or other entity).
• Serve as primary point of contact throughout duration of EESS activities on site.
• Collaborate with DOC team to communicate any safety program initiatives, concerns, or oversights to customer, contractor, and subcontractor stakeholders.
• Provide financial oversight through cost control, warranty, change order management, and risk mitigation.
• Work closely with commercial operations teams, including North American Sales (NAS) Project Management Organization, sales engineers, and EESS Technical Application Support (TAS) organization to reconcile client expectations with order commitments, change orders, and timelines.
• Join forces with local Service Sales Specialist, DOC Manager and Regional Director (if support across DOCs) to review pipeline and identify orders that will require project management.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of an Associates degree from an accredited institution AND, a minimum 7 years of experience leading and/or managing electrical, construction, or industrial projects; or 7 years' experience as a project manager services, sales, or manufacturing of electrical distribution products OR a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience leading and/or managing electrical, construction, or industrial projects; or 5 years' experience as a project manager services, sales, or manufacturing of electrical distribution products.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP or Commissioning Agent Certification
• 7-10 electrical field services experience
• 5+ years managing electrical construction or commissioning projects as project manager or construction manager.
• Proficiency in project management and construction industry software packages

Additional Information:

JOB/PROJECT SCOPE AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Travel requirements: approximately 75%; with preference for staffing within home region.
No relocation benefit provided for this position. Only candidates that reside within 100 miles of the local DOC will be considered. Hybrid work with three days in the office/onsite each week.
