Overview

The Regional Planning Manager - EP Americas leads the regional planning and scheduling team and supports the monthly S&OP process for the EP (Engineered Polymers) business. This role focuses on execution, coordination, and team leadership, ensuring production, raw material, and packaging plans are accurate, feasible, and aligned with business priorities.

 

The manager works closely with manufacturing, logistics, customer service, sales, and business line teams to keep plans updated, resolve constraints, and maintain smooth operations across the Americas region.

Responsibilities
  • Lead regional planning for the Americas, managing a remote scheduling team across Enoree, SC and Boucherville, QC. Provide coaching, development, and clear direction to translate business strategy into daily planning decisions.
  • Support and run monthly S&OP cycles for the Americas region, including Demand Reviews, Supply Reviews, Executive S&OP sessions, and input into the AC IBR meeting.
  • Review and approve demand forecasts by validating supply constraints and ensuring alignment with operational capability.
  • Perform short- and long-term capacity planning across manufacturing, logistics, and demand constraints to build accurate production plans.
  • Partner with network optimization teams to set inventory targets and ensure planning aligns with business strategy and network capabilities.
  • Recommend supply-demand balancing actions that support business goals and maintain operational stability.
  • Track and manage S&OP action items to ensure follow-through and continuous improvement.
  • Submit and maintain Material Master Data for the Americas region, including creation, extensions, and change requests.
  • Manage Material Master Data settings (MRP1–MRP4) to ensure accurate planning parameters across the region.
  • Maintain SAP allocation tables, including setup, activation, updates, and deactivation for the Americas region.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in planning, manufacturing, or S&OP within a production or supply-chain environment.
  • Handson experience with planning systems such as SAP, OM Partners, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable plans.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and problemsolving methodologies (preferred).
  • Prior leadership exposure such as team lead, supervisor, or informal coaching responsibilities (preferred).
