Your Job

The Operations Technology (OT) Regional resource will provide enterprise architecture expertise concerning manufacturing IT and process control infrastructure. Candidate will be focused on practical implementation of enterprise manufacturing standards for security and architecture, consulting with clients as central technical experts to find solutions to problems in the areas of control systems architecture, infrastructure design, and cybersecurity. The candidate will partner with the OT team members, engineering, and process control resources to define/implement manufacturing security and architectural standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical SME skills to achieve strategies and outcomes.
  • Create/document architectural designs for technology solutions that are reliable, scalable, and economically reasonable for the enterprise.
  • Drive implementation of Manufacturing OT standards and best practices through project teams and facility resources.
  • Support GP Cyber Security team. Provide consultation to various capabilities within GP in regard to control system architecture, security polices, best practices, and configuration guidelines in order to "harden" manufacturing hardware and software assets to attack.
  • Provide guidance concerning corporate manufacturing applications, OPC architecture data flow, anti-virus solutions, MS Windows patching, etc.
  • Stay informed with current architecture challenges and technologies. Communicate current environment with leadership team.
  • Support the team on large-scale projects at client sites.


What You Will Do
  • Ability to build partnerships across a large enterprise.
  • Ability to translate manufacturing, regulatory, and industry security standards into technical actions.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Manufacturing OT systems, Industrial control systems, and infrastructure.
  • Will be working with multiple types of SCADA/DCS/QCS systems (Honeywell, Invensys, ABB, Rockwell, Emerson). Must possess fundamental knowledge of control systems (DCS, PLC, HMI) and architecture.
  • Must possess fundamental knowledge of key technology architectural concepts such as virtualization, single point of failure, high availability configurations, failure recovery solutions and strategies, and data replication.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven communications skills (oral and written).


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • At least 4 years of experience working within Process Control or Operations Technology related fields or at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing network infrastructure including defining system requirements, architecture, design, and implementation of IT networks & security or networked distributed control systems in manufacturing environments.
  • Hands on experience in deployment and management of IT technologies, hardware, and tools in a manufacturing environment; virtualization, network access control, patching solutions, event monitoring, switches/routers/firewalls, installation, and administration of security applications (anti-virus, audit/remediation, firewalls, intrusion prevent and detection systems).
  • Conceptual understanding of network security architecture and design, firewall configuration and operation, VLANs, intrusion detection and analysis, authentication methods, encryption, Windows OS system administration & configuration, risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Experience working in a consultative and cooperative manner with multiple stakeholders, such as corporate security, corporate engineering, and site process control engineers & IT resources.
  • Travel expectations - 50-70%


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience with supporting Industrial Controls and Automations systems
  • Experience with Laser Guided Vehicles and robotics.
  • Industry security certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) or Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC).
  • Knowledge of DHS/ICS-CERT Guidelines, ISA-99/IEC62443, and/or other ICS security frameworks.
