Regional Operations Manager

At Primrose Retirement Communities, our mission is simple: to provide person-centered care and exceptional living experiences for seniors. We are seeking a passionate and strategic Regional Operations Manager to provide leadership, support, and vision to multiple communities within an assigned region.

This role is ideal for a proven senior living leader who thrives on developing teams, driving results, and supporting Executive Directors in achieving operational excellence. As a Regional Operations Manager, you will play a key role in advancing occupancy, resident satisfaction, employee engagement, financial performance, and regulatory compliance across your region.

More about the position responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Executive Directors across an assigned region, helping them achieve operational, financial, and resident satisfaction goals.
  • Drive occupancy, employee engagement, quality outcomes, and overall community performance through strategic planning and performance management.
  • Analyze community metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement strategies that support growth and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Executive Directors to develop budgets, review financial performance, and ensure accountability for results.
  • Ensure communities maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, licensing requirements, and company standards.
  • Support the development of community leaders and teams through training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate with home office and regional teams to communicate priorities, address challenges, and advance strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct regular community visits to evaluate operations, support leadership teams, and ensure alignment with Primrose's mission and values.
  • Champion a culture of person-centered care, employee engagement, continuous improvement, and exceptional resident experiences.


What we're looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Management, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Multi-site leadership experience, preferably within senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related service-focused industry.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience overseeing Independent Living, Assisted Living, or other senior housing operations.
  • Knowledge of state licensing requirements and regulatory compliance within senior living.
  • Proven success improving occupancy, resident satisfaction, employee engagement, and financial outcomes.
