Full Job Description
The purpose of the Regional Operations Manager is to provide overall direction, leadership, and management to multiple locations within a territory. Responsibilities include but are not limited to budgeting, forecasting, price analysis, negotiating with customers, vendors and participating unions. Managing and controlling costs associated with maintenance, inventory, employees as well as everyday expenses. Preparing, analyzing, comparing and reviewing margins and selling prices. Keeping current with ASTM standards and other manufacturing, building codes. Work closely with sales staff for goals, targets, programs as well as preparing incentive programs. Providing customer service to customers through quoting, promoting, and selling. This position is ultimately responsible for contributing to the overall success of our company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

  • Monitor productivity and quality; ensure all customers are satisfied with purchases.
  • Set goals, determining course of action to obtain the goals, and mobilizing resources to execute the actions.
  • Monitor safety throughout the yard and facility and take preventive action.
  • Operating, maintaining, upgrading and disposing of assets in a cost-effective way. This includes fixed assets as well as cash flow, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and inventories.
  • Overseeing location managers and inside sales in their day-to-day operations, hosting weekly ops meetings, and attending and overseeing monthly inventory control.
  • Approving expense and mileage report's locations.
  • Work with manufacturing partners from the retail perspective
  • Monitor and ensure weekly, monthly and yearly training are completed and up to date
  • Monitoring HR functions, mentoring new managers, and providing for the overall well-being of employees. This includes adherence to corporate guidelines.
  • Budgeting; plan for future income and expenditures.
  • Review of existing and potential products to forecast the life cycle of the business and to eliminate stale or deadlines.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
