Regional Operations Manager - Denver, CO

Position Overview

Shaw Industries is looking for a Regional Operations Manager to lead our Regional RedistributionCenter located in Denver, CO. This leader will haveownership of the associate and customer experience at Shaw27s Denver location. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, receiving, storing, order processing, shipping, and delivery of floor covering and related materials, and the associates involved with those processes.

  • 25 associatestotal, consisting of approximately 10 Class-A CDL drivers and 15 warehouse and office associates.

  • Service to Shaw customers throughout the majority of Colorado and Wyoming.

  • Must possess the ability to work closely with Sales and other business partners in meeting customer demands.

  • Responsible for maintaining communication with Directors of Regional Operations on the performance of the facility.

  • Ensure a safe work environment is provided for all associates to include compliance with all DOT and OSHA requirements.

  • Motivateassociates by assisting and empowering them to achieve facility goals and implement improvement processes as needed.

  • Work to increase market saturation for Shaw Truck and negotiating freight rates with customers to secure new business ensuring all customer needs/concerns are met on a daily basis.

  • Ensure effective utilization of transportation equipment and personnel for providing delivery and pick up service to customers.

Qualifications

  • Four-year degree and 5+ years of extensive management experience. Distribution/Logistics management experience strongly preferred.

  • Candidate must have leadership experience with large, diverse organizations.

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, required.

  • Candidate must be organized with specific attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
