Qualifications

• Unrestricted Texas RN license or valid compact state licensure.
• BLS (CPR & AED) Certified.
• At least 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks.
• Adept decision-maker; bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act for Licensure.
• Oversee operations and clinical outcomes of designated departments.
• Report clinical nursing concerns to the Director of Nursing.
• Participate in staff hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Develop and utilize tools for quality care evaluations.
• Support resolution processes for patient complaints.
• Establish orientation schedules for new team members.
• Ensure compliance with incident reporting and regulations.
• Conduct training sessions and audits of clinical practices.
• Participate in provider meetings to improve clinical operations.
• Evaluate inventory to support patient care needs.
• Adapt training programs for practice improvements.
• Write and manage organizational policies.
• Oversee exposure control and infection control processes.
• Act as a resource person providing guidance to staff.
