Description

The Regional Manager is a critical leader of the Resolve Marine Services Centers team. Under the supervision of the Sr. Director of Marine Services, the Regional Manager will take the lead role in the region's operation, billable work, and maintenance, ensuring regulatory compliance, participating in planning, finance management, and administration of the facility as well as the regional business. The Regional Manager is expected to strive for continuous improvement in safety, quality, compliance, sustainability, and efficiency goals. The work in this position is complex and involves significant accountability, decision-making, organizational, and leadership responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Operation and Maintenance of a regional facility; supervises Resolve Marine PNW operational teams, and the PNW Facility Administration. This role is also responsible for maintaining local facility equipment.
  • Lead regional business development through marketing and building relationships in the Region.
  • Identify, estimate, and bid jobs within the region.
  • Manage regional jobs from award through completion, ensuring work is performed correctly, safely, and in accordance with Resolve's standards of excellence.
  • Lead a specialty team of divers, salvors, welders, operators, and mechanics in the operation and maintenance of the facility. Provide clear definition of responsibilities and accountabilities, provide consistent and clear communication, and establish efficient workflows, as well as actively monitor safety, quality, and performance goals.
  • Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
  • Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
  • Have an understating of the operation and maintenance including but not limited to
    • Salvage Operations
    • Environmental Operations
    • Dive Operations
    • Welding and Machining Operations
    • Marine Construction Operations
    • Harbor Work Operations
  • Complies with all safety policies and guidelines set forth by Resolve, OSHA, or other regulating bodies.
  • Communicates, reports, and works alongside the HSEQ manager to manage and improve upon any unsafe work-related issues, concerns, or conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • 5-year minimum as proven Operations Manager
  • 10-year minimum in the marine services and/or construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a high paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to lead people while managing multiple and competing priorities.
  • Driver's License
  • TWIC or ability to obtain.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in basic computer skills including Word, Excel and e-mail.
  • Knowledge of marine services offered.

Preferred Credentials/ Certifications/ Skills:
  • Passport (highly preferred; if global deployment is required for this position, a current passport is required)
  • First Aid, CPR, AED
  • OSHA 10 Hour (US employees)
  • HAZWOPER 40 Hour
  • HAZWOPER 8 Hour
  • Management course
  • Project management training/ certification
  • Negotiation's training
  • FSO Training

Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position may include sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or equipment. The position may also require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, as required by the role.

Employees may be required to work in office environments, aboard vessels, at marine project sites, shipyards, warehouses, airports, or other operational locations. Work may involve travel and exposure to varying environmental conditions, including outdoor conditions, noise, fumes, and other conditions associated with marine and industrial work environments.

Travel Requirement:
