JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Summary

As a Regional Manager, you will lead the execution of the regional sourcing strategy, driving commercial performance, profitability, and partner engagement across multiple markets within your sub-region.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing high-performing Area Managers and frontline teams, strengthening strategic hotel partnerships, and ensuring alignment between regional objectives and commercial execution. You will play a critical role in identifying growth opportunities, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the successful adoption of strategic initiatives throughout the region.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Regional Planning
  • Partner closely with the Regional Sourcing Director to deploy corporate and commercial strategies across the sub-region.
  • Translate regional objectives into actionable plans that drive growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.
  • Implement and promote a consultative selling approach throughout the sourcing organization.
  • Identify emerging opportunities through market intelligence, industry trends, and performance analytics.


Team Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead, develop, mentor, and coach Area Managers and frontline teams.
  • Build high-performing teams by identifying talent, optimizing portfolio allocation, and supporting succession planning.
  • Foster a collaborative culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development feedback.
  • Drive capability-building initiatives to strengthen commercial and negotiation expertise across the region.


Commercial Performance Management
  • Drive performance against revenue, profitability, and strategic KPIs.
  • Monitor commercial performance and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Develop data-driven strategies to maximize growth opportunities and market share.
  • Ensure agility and responsiveness to changing market dynamics and business priorities.
  • Support achievement of company objectives while maintaining a strong focus on partner value and client satisfaction.


Strategic Partner Management
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key hotel partners, customers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Participate in strategic negotiations and high-level commercial discussions.
  • Represent HBX Group at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Promote best-in-class consultative partnership approaches across the region.


Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Account Development, Direct Channel, Commercial Optimization, Marketing, Operations, Revenue Management, SPA Specialists, and Commercial Enablement teams.
  • Drive alignment across functions to support growth initiatives and strategic programs.
  • Promote best-practice sharing across regions and sourcing teams globally.
  • Ensure smooth execution of ecosystem deployment and strategic account transitions.


Change Management & Operational Excellence
  • Lead the implementation of new tools, processes, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive adoption of digital solutions and partner self-service capabilities.
  • Ensure consistency and standardization across the sub-region.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support teams through organizational and operational change.


Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure all teams operate in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Promote compliance awareness and training throughout the region.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and responsible business practices.


Digital & Self-Service Adoption
  • Promote the value of digital solutions and partner portals among hotel partners.
  • Ensure teams actively drive adoption of self-service tools and ecosystem capabilities.
  • Support hotel partners in maximizing the value and efficiency of HBX Group solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Significant leadership experience within sourcing, contracting, hospitality, travel, or commercial operations. (+5 years of experience)
  • Proven track record leading and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Strong experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and strategic accounts.
  • Deep understanding of the travel industry, hotel distribution ecosystem, and commercial partnerships.
  • Experience operating in dynamic, fast-paced, multi-market environments.
  • Fluent English required; additional languages are considered an advantage.
