About the Job

Transform the Workforce - Lead the Midwest

As a Regional Manager of Educational Sales, you will own Amatrol's growth across a 10-state Midwest Territory - building partnerships with the educational institutions and workforce development leaders who are shaping the future of technical education in their communities.

This is a mid-level sales role that blends relationship-building, territory management, and consultative selling. Your success will be measured by the strength of the partnerships you build, the programs you help institutions launch, and the revenue growth you drive across the territory. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to instructors, administrators, and workforce development leaders - helping them invest in programs that open real doors for real people.

You'll work closely with Amatrol's distributor network and internal teams, own territory revenue goals, and represent Amatrol at regional and national workforce development and CTE conferences. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Global Sales and is positioned for continued growth - offering a clear pathway to advance into an Associate Vice President role as Amatrol expands its national educational footprint.

Location: Jeffersonville, IN / Louisville, KY Metro Area

Travel: Minimum 50% within the Midwest Territory

What You'll Do:

Lead Territory Strategy & Drive Revenue:

  • Own and drive annual revenue targets across the 10-state Midwest Territory.
  • Build and execute a structured territory plan by product line, institution type, and state; establish annual distributor goals and conduct regular business reviews.


Build Lasting Educational Partnerships:

  • Develop and sustain strong relationships across the territory.
  • Guide institutions through state and federal funding opportunities.
  • Create and maintain curriculum correlations with state academic. standards and industry certifications.


Engage, Present & Represent Amatrol:

  • Travel throughout the territory, lead major group presentations, leverage LinkedIn and professional networks and represent Amatrol in the highest professional way.


Develop & Enable Your Distributor Network:

  • Coach, mentor, and train distributor sales associates.
  • Build distributor capability across all product lines.
  • Ensure your distributor teams can clearly articulate the value of Amatrol learning systems.


What You Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; technology or engineering disciplines preferred.
  • 2-3 years of technical or consultative sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated success selling into or supporting educational institutions preferred.
  • Experience managing distributor or dealer relationships a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with state and federal workforce development funding structures preferred.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Working knowledge of automation, electrical, or mechanical technology.
  • Comfortable with the vocabulary and can hold a technical conversation with confidence.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft 365, and virtual collaboration tools.
  • Effective LinkedIn and social media presence.
  • Ability to deliver professional proposals and compelling product demonstrations.
