Overview

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (In-Office)

About the Role

We are seeking a collaborative and strategic Regional Finance Manager to oversee the financial performance and planning for the Arizona region. In this role, you will partner closely with operational and executive leaders to support business planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational improvements.

The ideal candidate is analytical, solutions-oriented, and passionate about using financial insights to drive business success while fostering strong cross-functional relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the regional budgeting and operational business planning process in partnership with Regional Partner.
  • Prepare accurate and timely month-end close activities, financial statements, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational and financial outcomes.
  • Partner with operational teams to interpret financial data and support strategic decision-making.
  • Support short- and long-term capital planning, including ROI analysis and investment evaluation.
  • Review regional financial consolidations, valuation calculations, and related supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support implementation efforts across the region.
  • Monitor revenue and profitability goals by evaluating expenses and financial performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Support buy/sell transaction calculations and related financial analysis.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reports, including budget-to-actual and trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to support continuous improvement initiatives and business growth.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP principles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred
  • Experience supporting healthcare, dental, or medical organizations.
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with Oracle FMS, SQL, or related financial systems.
