Regional Facilities Manager:

Premier Early Childhood Education Partners is a leading provider of early childhood education. With location in multiple states, we are searching for a facilities manager who takes pride in operating amazing spaces, is passionate about serving the staff at our locations, and brings a quickness to resolving issues to keep our centers running smooth. This position reports to Director of Real Estate Operations.

This role will include up to a minimum of 50% nationwide travel, with the remaining time spent working remotely. Preferred locations for these two roles include one for Chicago, Indiana, Detroit areas and one for Denver and Cleveland areas.

Responsibilities for Regional Facilities Manager:
  • Ensure that the facilities are fully operational with all systems functioning properly
  • Schedule and supervise maintenance and repair work at multiple locations including mechanical and electrical systems
  • Compose and manage vendor lists for multiple locations in multiple states
  • Acquire a general understanding of childcare licensing requirements regarding facility operations (previous understanding is beneficial but not a requirement).
  • Responsible for renovation and refurbishment projects of multiple sizes and complexities
  • Initiate and manage property insurance claims
  • Create a fleet management process and follow up to ensure the safety of all company vehicles
  • Maintain stable and strong relationships with contractors and team
  • Maintain a consistent communication process with contractors and team
  • Establish a work order system and process for managing work and costs associated with each project
  • Travel will be required for items such as annual facilities inspections, budget preparation, and management of larger facilities related projects.
  • Communicate to Vice President of Real Estate quarterly the KPIs of vendors. Make recommendations of changes needed to meet the SLAs
  • Position will manage regional internal technicians


Qualifications for Facilities Manager:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent professional level experience
  • 3-7 years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar type experience
  • Knowledge of general construction and maintenance costs
  • Must understand the budgeting process and maintenance and construction priorities
  • Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
  • Must be a well-organized, detailed, and communicative self-starter
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills a must
  • Working knowledge in CMMS such as Service Channel, Corrigo, EcoTrak

Compensation: $100,000-$110,000 annually based on background and experience
