About the Role: Support one of CBRE's premier clients in the financial services sector as a Regional Facilities Director. In this high-impact role, you will lead facilities operations across nine sites throughout the United States while providing strategic consultation and oversight for locations in EMEA and APAC. The portfolio includes unique airport lounge environments that require a strong focus on operational excellence, client service, and stakeholder management. This position requires up to 50% travel.
As a CBRE Regional Facilities Director, you will oversee the day-to-day facilities management, building operations, and maintenance functions across a large regional portfolio. You will lead and develop a team of managers, ensuring consistent service delivery, operational efficiency, and alignment with client objectives.
This role is part of the Facilities Management function, responsible for all aspects of facility operations, maintenance programs, repairs, capital planning, and workplace experience initiatives across the portfolio.
What You'll Do: - Provide leadership and oversight for a team of facilities professionals, including performance management, coaching, employee development, succession planning, and talent acquisition activities.
- Travel up to 50% as needed to support sites across the U.S., engage with client stakeholders, assess operational performance, and ensure consistency in service delivery across the regional portfolio.
- Direct and coordinate daily team operations, establishing priorities, allocating resources, managing workloads, and ensuring the successful achievement of departmental objectives and service-level expectations.
- Execute operational strategies that drive efficiency, consistency, and service excellence across the portfolio.
- Serve as a trusted business partner, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing initiatives that enhance operational performance and the client experience.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that support business goals, optimize facility performance, and deliver long-term value.
- Lead facilities operations across a complex, multi-site portfolio, fostering strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and client leadership teams.
- Apply advanced expertise in facilities management, operational best practices, regulatory compliance, and industry standards, including oversight of Joint Commission survey readiness and compliance requirements where applicable.

What You'll Need: - Bachelor's degree preferred with 8+ years of progressive experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven experience leading teams, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training, performance management, coaching, employee development, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels of an organization, including the ability to manage sensitive or complex situations with professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to support a geographically dispersed portfolio and attend meetings during Eastern Time Zone business hours.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish priorities, drive accountability, and deliver results across multiple sites, teams, and business functions.
- Experience managing manager-level employees and leading geographically dispersed teams in a complex, multi-site environment.
- Ability to build strong partnerships with executive leadership, clients, and key stakeholders while balancing competing priorities and business objectives.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and operational reporting.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to support sites, engage with stakeholders, and ensure operational consistency across the portfolio.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Regional Facilities Director position is $155,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Regional Facilities Director position is $165,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
